Psiche V Perfume by V Canto, Named for the ethereal beauty that inspired Eros when he encountered the innocent, irresistible Psyche, Psiche V is an herbal and floral woody musk that charms and entrances. Opening notes are a pure yet sensual effusion of shimmering white florals and bright, sparkling citrus. Effervescent tones of bergamot fuse with tart-sweet, tantalizing notes of Sicilian orange and Sorrento lemon, while lush, almost aqueous-fresh florals of magnolia, white lily and blue lotus play in the background, just touched by crisp nuances of Nepalese ginger. At the heart subtly sweet animalic and clean herbal accords harmonize, mingling crisp aromatic notes of Italian lavender and vetiver with rich, enveloping ambergris, benzoin and hints of mellow red berries. Base notes are smooth and embracing, combining cedar and precious white birch with tonka bean, musk, brown sugar and dark vanilla bean.
